Billions of people in this world have great dreams and goals in their life.
These goals may become a source of happiness as well as unhappiness.
If you achieve your dreams, you enjoy If you fail to achieve your dreams, you suffer unhappiness.
If you don’t have any dreams or goal in your life, you become bored with life enjoying neither happiness nor unhappiness.
Boredom is worse than unhappiness.
Tim Ferriss said rightly: “The opposite of love is indifference, and the opposite of happiness is boredom.”
Boredom is like being in the state of Coma, when you are neither living nor dead.
Being in coma for long time could be the greatest suffering for any person.
It is, therefore, better to have a dream and goal in life so that you can at least have a hope for the future which can fill your present with joy with that hope.
Even if you don’t achieve your goal or dreams in your life, you have atleast lived several moments of joy in the hope of achieving your dreams.
And no one can take those beautiful moments of your dreams away from your life.
In the words of Martin Luther King, Jr, “We must accept finite disappointment, but never lose infinite hope. “
When you have dreams and goals in life, you have hope.
When you have hope, you possess the infinite source of happiness within you.
